I am obsessed with the reality show known as The Bachelor. Every time the show is about to go to commercial, they’ll flash a phone number across the screen as we hear a Voice Over stating, “If you, or anyone you know, would like to nominate someone for the next Bachelor, please give us a call.” I always turn to my partner and beg her to nominate me for the next Bachelor. |

I’m getting ready to run my second half marathong. In 2006 I ran a full marathong, in 2007 I ran a half-marathong and now, 2008, I will run another half marathong. Wait, I’m doing it again. For some strange reason whenever I write the word marathon, I add a “g.” Why is that? Why would I subconsciously associate running 13.1 or 26.2 miles with a flimsy pair of panties? |
